Open Restaurant program has played a key role during the pandemic to help restaurants in NYC survive. Due to the success of the emergency program, the city is working to make it permanent. As part of the process, I have served as the main data analyst of the team at DCP to help shape the proposed text amendment to remove geographic restrictions on where sidewalk cafes can be located within NYC.
